Gerrards Cross Yoga Studio Timetable
Yoga Hook was founded in Gerrards Cross in early 2017. We are still known as a hot yoga studio, but in reality, we offer more heated yoga and room-temperature classes. We still offer Bikram yoga inspired hot yoga classes with our take and twist on it. With multiple refurbs, a quiet heating system and a reinforced ceiling, we offer flying yoga, mat Pilates classes, yoga for pregnant women, family yoga and more. We have created this beautiful community where a lot of our regulars travel from areas close to us. With accessible road connections, Uxbridge yoga and yoga in Stoke Poges are within easy driving distance. We are also referred to as Hook Yoga at times – just the reversal in the name but also because we show people how to take yoga with them in their daily lives and really be hooked on yoga!

Lovely studio, super friendly staff, a great range of teachers and classes. I personally love the heated and hot classes the most.

I had used yoga hook after finding Nina online. We had used it for a private booking of a therapy room with a high profile sports masseuse (@skssportmassagesoton). - prior to confirming the every aspect was great on their behalf, from arranging a short notice date to even the welcoming before hand. On arrival we was greeted by a lovely polite receptionist. - The whole studio was immaculately clean and tidy with a warm zone feeling. Fresh towels and a gleaming therapy room with comfy seating. You really couldn't ask for more from staff to the actual studio. Whole round 10/10 - 5⋆ experience. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

My first experience with the floatation pod was very relaxing and it created a lasting sense of calmness throughout the following days. I didn't know what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised by the fact that the pod can be easily opened or closed at any point. I'm not usually claustrophobic but it's nice to have complete control over getting in or out. It felt amazing to spend a whole hour feeling weightless and disconnected from the outside world. My muscles felt deeply relaxed and all of my senses turned inwards into a womb-like state. After the session I indulged myself to a luxurious long shower, all amenities provided. Everything was brilliant, including the convenient location, beautiful space and the friendly staff at the front desk.

As a slightly claustrophobic sceptic, I had put off my gift of a session in the flotation tank for some time. It was a case of now or never, so last night I took the plunge (!). I didn't think I would, but I climbed into the clam like structure, closed the lid and turned off the lights immediately. It was more welcoming than I had expected and the fact that it was pitch-dark and top sealed did not faze me. I loved the sensory deprivation and being alone with a complete sense of calm and relaxation was worth getting wet for. It did not feel, to me, like being in water, more like floating in space. It was an hour well spent, as I slept like a baby with the added bonus of really soft skin. I'll definitely do it again.
